HOUSTON, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Some concertgoers attending the March 4th performance by Hannah Montana and the Cheetah Girls at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will be offered refunds after a glitch in the soundsystem left them with no audio during the performance.
Ticket holders in specific areas of Reliant Stadium will be eligible for the ticket refund.
Officials have determined that the sound failure was due to an electrical installation error that occurred during the original construction of Reliant Stadium and was not a failure of the equipment installed by contractors for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, according to the Houston Business Journal.
“The show sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience that occurred during this sound failure,” Leroy Shafer, COO of the show told the paper. “We greatly appreciate our loyal and faithful patrons. It is unfortunate that the failure occurred during this incredible performance by such talented young entertainers. Currently, we have electricians and technicians evaluating critical electrical areas to ensure that no additional failures will occur.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
