NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — ICM has upped literary agent Sloan Harris to co-head of publications according to a report in Variety.
Harris has been a longtime employee of ICM and will be heading the department with Esther Newberg. Amanda Urban, whom Harris is replacing, will be focusing on the international booking business.
Harris started in the mailroom at ICM and worked his way up the ladder. His roster includes Anthony Swofford, author of book turned movie "Jarhead" and Hampton Sides, who wrote "Ghost Soldiers" among others.
ICM President Chris Silbermann wanted to make clear that this change in personnel doesn't indicate that Newberg and Urban's collaboration is coming to an end, noting to Variety that they represent some of the biggest authors in the business. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
