LAKELAND, FL (CelebrityAccess) — The Lakeland Center has named Former Polk County Sports Marketing Sales Manager John Oney as their new Director of Sales.
Prior to joining the Lakeland Center, the Pennsylvania native most recently served as the Golf Sales Manager at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida as well as a Sales & Events Manager with Central Florida’s Polk County Sports Marketing, and a Business Manager with the Lakeland based event-planning company Eventrics.
As well, Oney holds a Class A PGA Membership and has previously held numerous titles at private, public, and resort golf facilities.
While both John and his wife now reside in Lakeland, he transplanted from Pennsylvania, where he earned a degree in Recreation & Parks Management (RPM) at Penn State University with a focus in Professional Golf Management (PGM.) – Staff Writers
