(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The promoters of underground music concert the Joshua Tree Festival, scheduled for October 15th in the desert of Joshua Tree, California, have cancelled the planned event. The show was to be headlined by Rabbit In The Moon, Ozric Tentacles and Gram Rabbit.
A statement on the festival’s website read: “In spite of the phenomenal location and line-up of the most in-demand and respected underground artists, the promoters site a combination of circumstances leading to the postponement; conflicting entertainment events, the rising cost of gasoline and other current economy-related issues being factors. The timing and logistics of the desert festival are being revisited and plans for 2006 will be announced at a later date.”
