LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation announced the addition of two new members to its growing team.
Chris Adelmann has been tapped to be Live Nation's new executive VP of business development in North America. Chris has previously served as a consultant in media & investment banking with a client list that includes Alcatel, British Aerospace, Dutch Broadcasting, MCA, and Sony. He has served as a senior advisor to Loews Cineplex and served as an EVP at Warner Brothers Cinemas and a director of business development at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Interestingly, Adelmann specializes in business development in Asia and he helped Loews in developing and executing their China strategy. Adelmann is also a specialist in real estate development and has served in an advisory capacity for major multi-use projects such as London's Battersea Power Station. If these factors bear any implications for Live Nation with regards to the burgeoning Asian entertainment markets, remains to be seen.
Debbie Eybers has been appointed as the new president of the House of Blues. Eybers oversaw the founding and initial expansion of Jimmy Buffett's casual dining restaurant chain Cheeseburger in Paradise which opened in 2002.
