LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation is calling an allegedly leaked tour itinerary that showed Madonna heading out for a world tour in 2012, a hoax.
The itinerary, which was printed on what appeared to be Live Nation letterhead. was leaked to a Madonna fansite by an source the website described as an "an unconfirmed insider."
The document indicated that Madge was set to announce her tour plans on October 31st and that the tour was set to kick off in Auckland, NZ on March 31st, 2012.
Subsequently, Live Nation refuted the 'leak' on Twitter, saying "As much as we would love it to be real the Madonna article going around is a hoax."
While at least for now, the rumored tour appears to be false, there was plenty of dry tinder to stoke this particular fire – Madonna has been hard at work on a new album with producer William Orbit and widely expected to announce tour plans in the near future. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
