WALLINGFORD (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation is set to meet with town officials in hopes of resolving an ongoing dispute over the Toyota Oakdale Theatre.
“We’ll start with one and it’s possible that we’ll meet again,” Joan Molloy, the attorney representing Live Nation Told The Record-Journal. “We do have a meeting scheduled to start the discussion — hopefully meaningful discussions — next week.”
Live Nation was hit with a cease and desist order by the town over noise complaints from neighbors of the venue; Live Nation's use of an area designated as a lobby to hold concerts which the town claims is a violation of their permit; and over the use of a parking area.
According to The Record-Journal, Live Nation has retained Vernon-based Brooks Acoustics Corp. to to develop a plan to mitigate sound concerns at the venue. – Staff Writers
