MELBOURNE, Australia (CelebrityAccess) — Singer Lorde announced that she was postponing her planned Australian tour, citing health issues.
The tour had been set to start on April 24th in Melbourne. As of yet, no announcement has been made about rescheduled dates.
The New Zealander took to Twitter to make the announcement, stating that she had to bow out of the tour due to a chest infection and "general ill health."
“I have had to postpone my Australian shows because of a nasty chest infection and general ill health,” Lorde tweeted.
“I am so so gutted to have to do this but my parents and my team stepped in telling me I needed a break. I'm truly sorry if i let you down or if you feel inconvenienced by this and i hope you can understand. x,(SIC)" she added.
Since the Grammy Awards in January, Lorde has had a very busy schedule, with a spate of international dates, including headlining slots at Coachella and Lollapalooza in South America. – Staff Writers
