(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Marcie Allen Cardwell is back in business after resigning last month from Mad Booking & Events, the company she founded in 1999, following a disagreement with investors. She has formed MAC Presents from her home office, where her new company will focus on talent buying for various events, college bookings and tour sponsorships.
”I am very excited about the opportunity MAC Presents has given me,” she told CelebrityAccess. “I am now focusing on what I truly
love to do and give my clients the attention they need and deserve. After 10 years in the music industry, my
relationships with agents/managers/sponsors/promoters have assisted me in
building MAD Booking & Events and will continue to assist me with MAC Presents.”
Prior to starting MAC Presents, Cardwell says she interviewed with numerous companies. “I was flattered with all the
people who approached me about working with them. However, since I already had numerous clients, I decided the best thing for me was to start MAC
Presents. I started on my dining room table once and I can do it again.”
At MAD Booking, Cardwell secured the first music festival sponsorship with McDonalds and
Bridgestone/Firestone. Other companies she has worked with over the years include:
Coke/Dasani, Pepsi/Aquafina, Budweiser, Coors Light, AT&T Wireless, Cingular/Nokia, General Motors, AOL, and Toyota.
