Mark Sonder Marks A Milestone At 25 Years

LINDEN, VA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — This summer, industry veteran Mark Sonder and Mark Sonder Productions are marking a major milestone as they celebrate 25 years in the entertainment business.

Sonder has made his 'mark' on the industry in numerous ways, including the publishing of a full-length book, "Event Entertainment and Production", first released by Wiley Press in 2004.

Sonder also holds the distinction of being the first person awarded the Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) industry certification. Mark Sonder was also the first in the industry to simultaneously join the faculty of a sextet of higher education institutions, including George Washington University, George Mason University, Northern Virginia Community College, Stratford University, and the first to teach "Entertainment on the Road" in January 2006 followed up by "Entertainment Production and Operations Management" as an online course at The University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV). In addition, Mark was also the first entertainment agent to teach at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago.

Over the years, Sonder has worked with some of the world's most recognized artists, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Lena Horne, Cher, Tony Bennett and Blondie as well as putting 12 headliners together at a single corporate event Tribute to the late, great Les Paul, who actually got up and jammed with the artists at the end of the production.

Now, to kick off the next 25 years, Sonder has announced that he's just signed Nathan M. Schulhof, the inventor of the MP3 Player as MSP's first exclusively repped speaker.

"I hope my second 25 years will have just as many as my first. At that point I’ll be ready to retire," noted Sonder. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
