BOCA RATON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Veteran rocker Meat Loaf, who's album Bat Out Of Hell is one of the all-time top sellers was forced to cancel an April 5th concert in Boca Raton early after his voice gave out.
The short end led some pundits to believe that he was suffering from a deteriorating voice, but spokesman from the Meat Loaf camp subsequently stated that they concert was put on hold because Mr. Loaf had come down with the flu.
"Meat Loaf has been battling the flu over the past week and was unable to complete Thursday's performance," said a statement from Fantasma Productions, the local production company that put on the show. "He sincerely apologizes to his fans that came out for the show."
The spokesman went on to say that the show would be rescheduled as soon as possible and that all tickets would be honored or refunded as appropriate. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
