TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Meek Mills found the crowd in Toronto to be a bit frosty during his his performance at the at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre as a part of Nikki Minaj's PinkPrint Tour on July 28th.
Of course, it didn't help that Mills had just a week before suggested that hometown favorite Drake didn't write his own material, with Mills tweeting "Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don't write his own raps! That's why he ain't tweet my album because we found out!"
It also likely didn't help that Drake himself is set to stage his OVO Fest at the same venue the next weekend.
According to the Toronto Sun, Mills skipped his opening set, perhaps having seen some of the anti-Meek shirts that some members of the audience were sporting, and instead, came on stage to perform during Minaj's set. Then, despite audible books as he left the stage, he returned towards the end of Minaj's performance for another two songs.
The Philadelphia-based Mills is reportedly engaged to Minaj. – Staff Writers
