NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Mike Doughty and his band — the aptly-named Mike Doughty‘s Band — will support six weeks of dates on Barenaked Ladies' fall U.S. tour, beginning October 23 in Manchester, New Hampshire and continuing through December 3 in San Diego. Select small-venue headline dates are also being confirmed for Mike Doughty's Band in between Barenaked Ladies dates.
Mike Doughty is currently recording the follow-up to his 2005 album HAUGHTY MELODIC with producer Dan Wilson in Minneapolis. HAUGHTY MELODIC was released by ATO last year, spawning the AAA Top Five track "Looking at the World from the Bottom of a Well." Supporting the album, Doughty has appeared on the "Late Show with David Letterman," "Last Call with Carson Daly," MTV2's "Subterranean," VH-1, the syndicated public radio shows "World Cafe" and "E Town" and many more.
