NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Live Nation has announced the appointments of Bruce Moran as President and Phil Ernst as Senior Vice President at the Live Nation New York office.
As President, Moran will be responsible for overseeing all of the company’s regional concert booking, marketing and promotion as well as supervising the guiding the New York Staff. Moran comes to Live Nation from OCESA Presents/CIE USA Entertainment, where he served as CEO, managing the company’s international booking and talent buying operations and running the company’s U.S.-based businesses. During his 12 years with the company, he was personally responsible for the establishment of Mexico as the most active concert market in Latin America by booking and producing shows for such artists as U2, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, metallica, Madonna, Pink Floyd and many more. Prior to OCESA Presents/CIE, Moran worked as VP of Music for Madison Square Garden, and served as a talent agent at ICM.
As SVP, Ernst will work closely with Moran to oversee all of the company’s booking in the region. He and Moran previously shared duties at OCESA PRESENTS/CIE since 2000, where Ernst served as President of OCESA Presents. During his tenure at the company, he worked with such artists as Eric Clapton, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and others.
