Music Execs Join Famecast Board


AUSTIN, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — FameCast, the first online talent contest designed to find America's best new artists, has announced Charles Attal, of Charles Attal Presents and C3 Presents, Paul Korzilius, manager of rock group Bon Jovi, Randy Phillips, president & CEO of AEG Live and Larry Waks, partner at Jackson Walker LLP have joined the company's Advisory Board. As advisors, Mr. Attal, Mr. Korzilius, Mr. Phillips and Mr. Waks will provide FameCast with strategic insight into the music and entertainment industry and provide direction for the company's online talent discovery and entertainment community platform.

FameCast puts new artists front and center on the largest stage in the world – the internet, providing them a virtual stage to showcase their talent and an opportunity to reach an audience of millions worldwide.

Charles Attal founded Charles Attal Presents (CAP) as an independent promotion company and most recently joined forces with Charlie Walker, former Live Nation CEO and Charlie Jones of Capital Sports and Entertainment to form C3 Presents, a new company that will produce the Austin City Limits Music Festival, Lollapalooza and a new country music festival.

Since 1992, he has managed the career of the super-star rock group Bon Jovi. He was also a key participant in the launch of the Arena Football team the Philadelphia Soul and continues to support the team with expertise in the ticketing, sponsorship, and operations aspects of the team. During his successful career, Mr. Korzilius has also managed the touring careers of Cher, Queen, Skid Row, The Alarm, Scorpions, Billy Squier, Debbie Gibson, and Cheap Trick.

Randy Phillips is the president & CEO of AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG comprised of affiliates specializing in producing and presenting live contemporary music performance, touring for a variety of programming and multi-media production. Mr. Phillips oversees the day-to-day operation and strategic planning and development of all AEG Live entertainment properties, including AEG Live Events, AEG-TV, AEG Radio, AEG Live Exhibitions, and AEG Live Tours and Special Events, Concerts West and Goldenvoice, the company's national promotion divisions. Recently promoted concert tours have included artists such as Bon Jovi, Prince, Usher, Kenny Chesney, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera and Dixie Chicks. Goldenvoice, the company's southern California-based regional promotion division created and operates the award winning annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

FameCast is a nationwide contest to discover the next big music and comedy stars.
