Neil Young Announces US Tour

BOISE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Neil Young has announced a new U.S tour in support of his new album "Chrome Dreams II," which is set to drop October 16th on Reprise Rex.

Kicking off on October 18th in Boise Idaho at the Morrison Center, the tour will include two nights at Toronto's Massey Hall and Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. before winding down on December 13th at the United Palace in NYC.

The album is a sequel to Young's legendary "Chrome Dreams" album that was shelved in favor of "American Stars 'N Bars." The album was bootlegged as an acetate and a number of the songs have made it onto different albums and live performances, most notably his Unplugged performance. The first boxed set of Young material is also likely to be released in Spring 08, featuring 8 CDs and 3 DVDs of previously unreleased material and live recordings.

The tour will be promoted by Next Adventure, a Live Nation company.
