LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – The final song for Motley Crue at The Staples Center in Los Angeles found Tommy Lee stuck hanging upside down from the drum kit roller coaster due to a mechanical error. The roller coaster had been working perfectly through the first half of the show and through the entire tour up until that last song on New Year’s Eve.
Starting the New Year hanging upside down Lee’s 2016 has literally nowhere to go but up. Other than a stream of expletives the the rocker seems to have had a great attitude about being stuck and even joked that he could not believe it happened at the end of the band’s farewell tour.
The band's rollercoaster goes over the stage and Lee was in the middle of his drum solo. The road crew quickly freed the rocker, who climbed down to the stage. The crowd chanted “Tommy” as the rocker was freed from the roller coaster.
