Universal Music Nashville has promoted Jason Owen to senior vice president of media, artist relations and creative services for its Mercury, MCA Nashville and DreamWorks Nashville labels. In his new role, Owen will continue to develop and implement extensive media campaigns for Shania Twain, Julie Roberts, Reba McEntire, Toby Keith, George Strait and Lee Ann Womack, among many others. He will also oversee creative services, which includes the company's video and production departments.

Most recently, Owen served as vice president of media and artist relations for Mercury and MCA Nashville. Prior to joining Universal, Owen enjoyed an extensive and successful career in television, serving as director of marketing and talent relations at Columbia TriStar Television.
