SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (CelebrityAccess) — The Dominican Republic is getting ready to host Santo Domingo Live, a new music festival featuring five of the best known international Latin artists.
Produced by Dominican Republic-based promoter SDConcerts, Santo Domingo Live features a lineup that includes Alejandro Sanz, Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives, Pitbull and Nicky Jam.
The festival, set for December 19th, will take place at Santo Domingo’s 50,000-capacity Félix Sanchez Olympic Stadium and is sponsored by Dominican beer brand Cerveza Presidente.
“It is conceived as a first class event to promote the country as an interesting destination for art and culture, and which can also help attracting tourists from the nearest locations,” said Saymon Díaz, SDConcerts’ president.
“It’s not every day that you can enjoy artists as big as Alejandro Sanz and Marc Anthony, or tell me about Carlos Vives and Pitbull who will be also joined by Nicky Jam in his best moment,” Díaz added. “The audience will have the opportunity to have them all in one night, a night that promises a unique experience for the assistants,” he added. – Staff Writers
