NOIDA, India (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rapper Pitbull aroused the ire of his fans in India when he turned up late for a much-hyped gig and without other performers who were supposed to be in attendance at the show.
According to the Times of India, Pitbull was scheduled to perform at the Quantum Nightclub in Noida at 11pm on Dec. 2nd, but didn't post until nearly 1:30AM. Moreover, Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez had been reputed to be joining Pitbull at the show, but were not present, as were VJ Anousha and DJ Aaron who were supposed to emcee the event.
Organizers for the event told The Times that technical problems led to the delay as the artist was not happy with the sound quality at the venue.
Pitbull apologized for the delay to the crowd of approcimately 1,800 who'd turned up for the show and then performed a selection of his hits, but not everyone in attendance was mollified.
"We feel cheated. The tickets weren't cheap and we have shelled out a small fortune to see Pitbull perform. The show itself was great, but he only performed for a fraction of the time that we had paid to see," one concert-goer told Times of India.
