CINCINNATI (CelebrityAccess) — The Columbus-based concert promoter PromoWest Productions has announced that it has acquired the Buckle Up and Bunbury music festivals in Cincinnati.
Focused on pop and rock, Bunbury launched in 2012 and last year, the three-day festival presented a lineup that included The National at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove parks in downtown Cincinnati. The Buckle Up fest launched last year as a three-day country music festival in the same location. The 2014 lineup included Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, and The Railers.
"We are excited to expand into the Cincinnati market. We have strong relationships with the bands that play Bunbury as they play our venues throughout the year," PromoWest CEO Scott Stienecker said in a blog post.
