Public Relations Vet Jody Miller To Retire

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Veteran public relations specialist Jody Miller has announced that she's retiring and closing down her agency JLMPR come this August.

Miller's been in the entertainment public relations field for 25 years and repped clients from Iggy Pop and Russell Simmons to Al Green. Miller provided public relations for Simmon's Hip-Hop Summit Action Network and related events as well.

"This has been an incredible 25 years, filled with some wonderful people and experiences," wrote Miller in a statement. "It's fascinating to look back and acknowledge how differently things were done when I was coming up and how the media landscape has so changed."

As for the rest of the staff at JLMPR, Pam Workman will launch her own PR firm and Pamela Lipshitz and Janice Torres will work as independent contractors PR Week reported. Miller will continue to make herself available to former staffers and clients over the next few months. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
