Royalty Bill Passes California Legislature


(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A bill to require labels to accurately account royalty advances and allows artists to audit their record labels once a year has been passed by the California Legislature. SB 104, introduced by Senator Kevin Murray (D-Los Angeles), is expected to be signed into law by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
