IRVINE, Scotland (CelebrityAccess) — The inaugural edition of the Clamjamfry Music & Art Festival has been canceled just days before the event was to take place, with organizers citing bad weather.
The festival, which was to have taken place in Annick Lodge in Irvine, Scotland on August 12th with a lineup headlined by Esperanza and Samson Sound.
However, on August 10th, organizers wrote: "It's with great sadness that we must inform you that The Clamjamfry Music and Art Festival has been canceled.
"Prolonged bad weather has made areas of the site unusable and despite all efforts to address [the] problem it will not be possible in time.
"We are all extremely disappointed having put in so much work and preparation but must put safety first."
On a brighter note, organizers promised that the event would be back next year and that they were already taking steps to improve the festival site.
"Site improvements are already being made and we intend to run The Clamjamfry in 2018. "We sincerely apologise to everyone who has purchased advance tickets for the event," organizers wrote.
