HOLLYWOOD, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG Facilities has signed a long-term deal with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla to handle management, operations and sponsorship services for the 5,500-seat indoor venue.
First opened in 2005, the Hard Rock Live stages about 150 events a year, including major touring artists, comedy and sports events. Since they opened their doors, the Hard Rock has hosted shows by artists including Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton and Billy Joel, as well as major comedy tours including Chris Rock, Robin Williams and George Lopez that have been attended by more than 1.5 million fans.
The Hard Rock in Florida will extend AEG's relationship with the brand as the company also manages the 4,100 capacity, state of the art venue The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
"Hard Rock Live has partnered with AEG over the last seven years to produce more than 150 highly successful entertainment events," said Senior Vice President of Entertainment Bernie Dillon. "The deal expands the relationship so we can continue to bring the world’s best entertainment to South Florida. It is an honor and pleasure to be associated with the entire AEG family."
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
