AMSTERDAM, NL (VIP-NEWS) — Def Jam CEO Steve Bartels will participate in a keynote Q&A at the 21st edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event.
Elevated to label chief in 2014, Bartels has seen a string of successes in 2015 and 2016. Among them: hit releases by Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Rihanna and Alessia Cara.
Held in the Netherlands capital from Oct. 19 through 23 and billed as "the world`s largest club-based festival," artists on the lineup include Joris Voorn, Levon Vincent, Maya Jane Coles, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin, Paul Oakenfold, "Little" Louie Vega, and Axwell Λ Ingrosso.
Also booked as speakers are Molly Neuman and Martin Goldschmidt, Kickstarter’s head of music and Managing Director of the label Cooking Vinyl, respectively.
ADE opens with a collaboration between Henrik Schwarz and Metropole Orkest dubbed "Scripted Orkestra."
