COLUMBIA, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Tennessee may be getting a new shed that may help take up some of the slack left by the closure of the Starwood.
According to WKRN, Harley-Davidson dealership owner Rick Kelley is looking into building a new outdoor venue in Columbia, Maury County on a site located off of Interstate 65, 38 miles outside of Nashville. If all goes according to plans, the venue will open in May.
While Kelley has seems to have little experience in the music industry, he is apparently well-connected. WKRN reported that he hosts Dierks Bentley's annual fundraising motorcycle ride as well as similar efforts on behalf of Little Big Town. He is a self-professed "big" fan of country music, gospel and bluegrass.
"I think the coolest thing in America would be to have Skynyrd here on Saturday, Bill Gaither here on Sunday. How much fun is that?" Kelley said. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
