LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Orleans Arena has promoted Darren Davis to executive director.
Davis has more than thirteen years of experience in facility operations and event management. Prior to assuming his current position, he was the senior director of booking for the Arena. Davis’s new responsibilities include all administrative, financial and operational management of the facility.
Davis played an integral role in the opening of the Orleans Arena in 2003 and has been involved in all aspects of venue operations since. Prior to moving to Las Vegas in 2003, Davis was an event coordinator in Fort Worth, Texas.
Davis graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Advertising and a minor in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Oglebay – Public Assembly Facility Management School.
