"The Rocky Horror Show" To Return to Broadway

"The Rocky Horror Show" closed on Broadway soon after the September 11 World Trade Center terrorist attacks as one of a few musicals that could not last through the economic fallout. When it closed, there were reports that it might reopen in a few weeks, and it looks like it will reopen on Oct. 31 and run through Jan. 6.

There will also be some cast changes. Robin Leach will replace Dick Cavett as the narrator. The producers want former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach, also an actor, to play the square teenager Brad. Bach was originally offered the role of Frank 'N' Furter, but reportedly turned it down since he did not feel that his fans would accept him as a transvestite.
