(CelebrityAccess News Service) — N*E*R*D*, the Clipse, and Spymob will headline a Rock the Vote benefit concert at the inaugural New Orleans Media Experience (The Experience) on October 30. The Experience is the first-of-its-kind: a convergence festival celebrating the best of film, music, advertising and videogames to take place October 26–November 1 in New Orleans. The concert will be held at the Morris F. X. Jeff Auditorium in Louis Armstrong Park, adjacent to New Orleans' French Quarter. The Experience will donate all profits from the concert to Rock the Vote, the non-profit organization dedicated to protecting freedom of expression and empowering young people to change their world through political and civic engagement.

"We are excited to be partnering with N*E*R*D*, the Clipse, and Spymob, and know that their music and influence will help inspire young voters to become a part of the political process and realize that their vote does make a difference," said Jehmu Greene, executive director for Rock the Vote. "We thank the New Orleans Media Experience for providing Rock the Vote with this important benefit that will help raise funds to strengthen Rock the Vote's programs and 2004 Election efforts." –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
