BOULDER, CO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The TourIntel website, just a few weeks into its Beta launch, has been crowded with visitors from all aspects of the entertainment industry and thousands of reports have been ordered and downloaded.
"We did not think that the industry would respond this quickly, but it is great to see the data being utilized" said CelebrityAccess CEO Peter Denholtz. "The industry is learning the benefit of having enhanced reports and finding real value in being able to understand the trends and statistics associated with live event performance."
TourIntel is a new live event business intelligence service and has sold thousands of reports since it launch. TourIntel is also reporting a rapid increase in the shows being reported. Denholtz went on to say "Obtaining box office scores can be difficult for a number of obvious reasons. Fortunately, we are getting the word out and many venues and promoters are reporting their entire history of shows to ensure that they are getting the proper exposure and to increase the availability of TourIntel information. It will take some time, but over the next 6-9 months we should have a very comprehensive database of show results. It just gets better every day!"
Although the "Basic" box office report is available, TourIntel offers other reports with in-depth analysis on everything from show gross and attendance to ticket prices and location. Reports compare up to four artists or venues and can help answer questions like what is the right ticket price for specific artists at specific locations
