VANCOUVER, Wash., (CelebrityAccess) — Event organizers have announced the lineup for the this year's Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival, which it takes place on August 26-28th at Esther Short Park.
Organized by Bravo Concerts, the 19th annual edition of the festival will see 16 concerts will be staged with a lineup that includes Cuban jazz legends TiempoLibre, Bettye LaVette, The Family Stone, and Tommy Tommy Castro & The Painkillers.
Other artists on the bill include Grace Kelly, Heritage Blues Orchestra, Nicholas Payton, and Alfredo Rodriguez. As well, local and regional bands will be featured as well, including Portland singer Ellen Whyte and Northwest Latin band Salsa Nova and the 56th US Army Jazz Band from Joint Base Lewis-McCord.
As well, over 200 wines will be available to sample, as well as food from local restaurants, with cuisine choice ranging from Middle Eastern to Hawaiian an Mexican.
"The Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival is a unique northwest cultural arts event" explains Festival Manager Maria Manzo. "It is a multi-faceted cultural festival, where people hear great music, enjoy Northwest wine, see beautiful fine art, and become immersed in an eclectic and creative weekend."
