Verizon Wireless Music Center Taken Off The Block

NOBLESVILLE, Ind (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After 9 long months with a for-sale sign in the yard, Live Nation has taken the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Ind. off the market.

The 203 acre facility is the largest music venue in central Indiana and a prime choice in the for outdoor festivals like the Vans Warped Tour and is reportedly ranks 5th in the nation for tickets sold in 2006.

The decision not to continue to offer the venue reflects the recent tightening of available credit for acquisitions and the real estate market. Live Nation had been reportedly looking for a substantial sum for the facility. The Indiana Buisiness Journal stated that after 9 months "no acceptable offers have been received, and several local brokers say the unofficial asking price of more than $40 million is outrageous."

Local fans are pleased by the development and Live Nation has announced that concerts will continue to take place, including a pair of Dave Matthews concert on August 17th & 18th

"It's great. It's great news, I mean, this is where we always come we don't' go to shows anywhere else. This is always where we come," Melissa Escalera of Defiance, Ohio told WISH News. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
