India Arie, Pat Benatar, Mary J Blige, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Dixie Chicks, Nelly Furtado, Emmylou Harris, and Shea Seger with host Allison Janney from "The West Wing" will be featured on "Women Rock! Girls & Guitars."
Lifetime Television and Marie Claire magazine will once again join forces to champion the fight against breast cancer with “Women Rock! Girls & Guitars.” The Oct. 18 event will be taped at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles and air on Lifetime Oct. 26.
“Women Rock! Girls & Guitars” is part of the Network’s ongoing, award-winning public awareness campaign. The two-hour special will be an awareness and fundraising event benefiting the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations (NABCO) and the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC).
