Geldof Starts Event Marketing Company

Sir Bob Geldof, founder of the Boomtown Rats, organizer of 1985's Live Aid mega-concert, and knighted in 1986, has started a corporate event marketing firm that helps companies market new products.

"If you build a company, you work for your clients and employees, gain credibility and make money doing it, why not?" he told the Wall Street Journal.
