SMG Names Goldman GM At Nassau

LONG ISLAND (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Jerry Goldman has been named as the new General Manager at the SMG-managed Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York.

Goldman will be responsible for the overseeing bookings and operations at the venue, which serves as a home to the NHL franchise, the New York Islanders.

"Jerry's talents have played a key role in the success of the BOK Center," says BOK Center GM John Bolton told ABC Affiliate KTUL. "His move from Tulsa as AGM to GM in one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country speaks volumes of his talent and his record of success."

Prior to accepting the post at the Nassau, Goldman served as assistant general manager at the 19,100 seat Bank of Oklahoma (BOK) Center in Tulsa, which he joined before it debuted in 2008. Before that, Goldman spent a tenure at the AT&T Center in San Antonio as the director of booking and marketing and has also held posts at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.

Goldman will make the transition towards the end of March. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
