LOUISVILLE (CelebrityAccess) The KFC Yum Center in Louisville has announced that a new general manager has been hired.

Eric Granger, the former vice president and general manager for the FedEx Forum arena in Memphis, Tennessee, will take over the spot abruptly vacated by Dennis Petrullo on Dec. 4th.

Granger also served as general manager of the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, home of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets.

From 2001-2005, Granger was director of event services for the Pyramid and Memphis Cook Convention Center. During his tenure, Granger was part of the team that planned and coordinated the Mike Tyson-Lennox Lewis heavyweight championship fight in 2002

“I am looking forward to working with the great group of professionals in Louisville with AEG Facilities and the Louisville Arena Authority,” said Granger. “KFC Yum! Center is an incredible facility.”

“KFC Yum! Center is pleased to welcome Eric Granger and his family to Kentucky,” Scott C. Cox, Chairman, Louisville Arena Authority said in a statement. “Eric’s experience and talent will help maintain the arena’s reputation as one of the finest venues in the world.”
