NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Migos frontman Quavo has been accused of assault and robbery by a noted jeweler in a fight at a New York City nightclub following the Grammy Awards.

According to TMZ, the alleged victim, who goes by the sobriquet Eric the Jeweler told police that he was assaulted by Quavo and a member of the rapper’s entourage in the early morning hours on Monday at 1Oak nightclub in Manhattan.

TMZ reported that Eric, who has provided bejeweled accessories for performers such as Snoop Dogg and Fifty Cent, had been arguing with Quavo over some money that the rapper owed him.

TMZ reported that the alleged altercation became physical, prompting Eric to leave the club with minor facial injuries, but as he did, he noticed his $30,000 necklace was missing.

In a statement released to Billboard, a detective with the NYPD said: “A complaint report for Robbery was filed for an incident that occurred on January 29, 2018, at approximately 0430 hours at [1Oak].
