IOWA CITY, IOWA (CelebrityAccess) A parked tour bus for Portugal. The Man caught fire before the band’s show in Iowa City, Iowa, Feb. 13.
The bus was new the performance hall of Iowa Memorial Union on the campus of University of Iowa. The fire was reportedly believed to have started in the heating and cooling system; the cause was still being investigated at press time.
Firefighters said that no one was hurt or injured, and the Iowa City Fire Department said the crew was “able to knock the fire down quickly.”
The band is expected to play the Blue Note in Columbia, Mo., this evening.
