NOTTINGHAM, UK (CelebrityAccess) — The Vivendi-owned international ticketing service See Tickets announced the launch of Fan Share, a new, free-to-use service that allows users to grow ticket sales with digital street teams.
See Tickets says the new service will allow clients to “tap into the promotional power of social influencers and word-of-mouth marketing to boost exposure and organically sell tickets.” Promoters, venues, and event organizers will be able to choose how to incentivize these ‘ambassadors’ to encourage them to sell tickets to family, friends and social media connections with free merch and VIP upgrades.
All tickets sold on Fan-Share are fully integrated and compatible with See Tickets’ existing access control system, sales, reporting and ticketing tools.
The service initially launched in a beta for select festivals but has now been expanded touring and venue clients as well.
“Our clients get access to Fan-Share at absolutely no cost, it requires no set-up from them and it will grow sales – it’s proven. The product can be used across multiple events in addition to one-off events and festivals,” See Tickets CEO Rob Wilmshurst told MusicWeek.
“As with every service that we offer, Fan-Share is a white label service. We have invested heavily in its development and now have a market leading product to put to our new and existing clients,” Wilmshurst added.
