HAMBURG, Germany (VIP-NEWS) — FKP Scorpio Konzertproduktionen GmbH has sold its shares in Tinderbox and NorthSide festivals to Down The Drain Holding ApS.

“For a long time, we have wanted to consolidate the festivals under the Down The Drain umbrella, which today serves as the Nordic region`s largest independent concert and festival organizer, and we are pleased that it has now fallen into place,” says Brian Nielsen (pictured), CEO of Down The Drain Group.

The Danish company Down the Drain is now an independent player in the Danish festival market after FKP Scorpio has sold its shares in the 2 major festivals NorthSide and Tinderbox.

FKP Scorpio will continue to own a minority share of the company Beatbox Entertainment Aps, which continues to book artists for the festivals. The decision is taken in full agreement among the parties.

“We would like to thank the Danish team for the good cooperation so far and we are pleased to continue working with Mads Sørensen and the rest of the Beatbox team,” said Folkert Koopmans, CEO of FKP Scorpio.

Down The Drain Group is the majority owner of NorthSide, Tinderbox, Komos and concert tour company Beatbox as well as co-owner of the Haven Festival.
