LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) The Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, over two nights, drew a total of 62 arrests on felony charges.

Day One, Friday, brought 33 arrests including four misdemeanor arrests and two arrests for battery on a police officer, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Saturday saw 35 arrests, 33 for drug-related charges. An additional 654 people were kicked off the grounds.

EDC wrapped last night with promoter Insomniac reporting 135,225 attendees. There were 166 ejections, according to police via figures provided by Insomniac to News 3 Las Vegas, 28 felony drug arrests, two misdemeanor arrests and six traffic dictations, according to Las Vegas Metro Police. However, there were no reports of DUI arrests or traffic crashes at press time.

Although this certainly has a negative spin, there is an upside: of the 137,500 attendees, only 33 were ejected on the first night, down from 118 the year before, according to the paper.  It should also be noted that the arrests are (very) roughly .02 percent of the overall attendance.

It is not known how many arrests occurred inside the festival grounds (promoter Insomniac has criticized media in the past for reporting arrests and other concerns that were not related to the event).

This year’s EDC included acts like Diplo, Marshmello, Tiesto, and Zedd.
