WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CelebrityAccess) Chris Brown was arrested July 5 as soon as he walked off stage from his concert in West Palm Beach, Fla., because of felony battery charges and booked into Palm Beach County Jail.
No details about the allegations in the arrest warrant were immediately available, according to the Associated Press. However, it has been noted that in April 2017, the singer was accused of sucker-punching a female photographer at a party at Tampa’s Aja Channelside club when the in-house photographer took photos of him and his entourage and Brown allegedly jumped over a couch and punched her in the face, according to Billboard.
A sheriff’s spokeswoman said Brown was released on a $2,000 bail on the battery charge.
Brown was taken into custody after performing at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre. Officials told TMZ he was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of a nearby county.
It was also reported yesterday that Brown spent more than $350,000 on a bulletproof SUV.
Brown is in the middle of his Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour. His record of violence also includes pleading guilty to felony assault for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and an arrest in 2016 arrest on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
