LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) – Billboard has reported that the Michael Jackson Estate and Sony Music have teamed up to coordinate an epic Vegas bash in honor of the late icon’s forthcoming 60th birthday.
The event, which will take place on August 29th at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, will kick off with an early evening performance of Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil, followed by an exclusive after-party at Daylight Beach Club.
According to Billboard, the Daylight Beach Club party, which is being hosted by Sway Calloway, will include “interactive elements including activations inspired by Jackson’s music videos.”
While the party is for attendees of that day’s Michael Jackson One performance and for invited guests only, fans are expected to flock to Vegas from across the globe for the celebration.
Members of the Jackson family including children Paris and Prince as well as brothers Jackie, Marlon, and Tito will reportedly be in attendance.
