QUEENSLAND, Australia (CelebrityAccess) A skydiver had a life-threatening landing during a music festival in Queensland, Australia Saturday.
The 59-year-old skydiver was doing a demonstration when he ended up in a tree and fell to the ground at the Mitchell Creek Rock ‘N’ Blues Fest, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman told the Sydney Morning Herald. He was airlifted to a hospital.
“He was conscious the whole time with no obvious external injuries,” she said. “But they were querying internal injuries.”
A woman who was hit by a branch was treated at the scene.
This year’s event featured Renee Geyer, Ross Wilson, and The Backsliders among its dozens of acts during the Sept. 21-23 event.
