(CelebrityAccess) – Warner Music Group has announced that two of its in-house attorneys, Trent Tappe and Maryrose Maness, have been promoted to the role of deputy general counsel, effective immediately.
Tappe has been with the company for 14 years, while Maness is in her 10th year at WMG.
“Trent and Maryrose are two of the most astute and insightful legal minds it has been my pleasure to work with,” WMG general counsel Paul Robinson said in a statement. “Their tenure at WMG has coincided with a time of major transformation in our company and throughout our industry. They have done exceptional jobs in navigating complex and often uncharted territory. In addition, they’re both huge music fans, which gives them a real passion for our artists, our songwriters, and the creativity that drives our business.”
Tappe most recently served as WMG’s SVP, Chief Corporate Governance and Securities Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, while Maness served as WMG’s SVP, Chief Employment and Corporate Infrastructure Counsel.
