Grammy Nominations Postponed To Friday Because Of Former President George Bush’s State Funeral

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Nominations for this year’s Grammy Awards have been postponed until Friday because of scheduled services for former President George H.W. Bush, who died Nov. 30.

The nominations were set for Wednesday but the Recording Academy has announced a two-day delay because of a conflict with the state funeral for Bush, which will take place at Washington’s National Cathedral on the same day. Bush’s body will be on public view in Washington today with the the state funeral Wednesday and a private church service in Houston the following day.

The nominations are expected to be announced on “CBS This Morning” and  Apple Music at 8:30 a.m. EST with a full list available at 8:45 am on Grammy.com
