TEL AVIV (CelebrityAccess) — Madonna’s performance at the Eurovision Song Contest finals in Tel Aviv has been officially confirmed.
Eurovision organizers announced that Madonna will perform two songs – her 1989 hit Like A Prayer, and a new single, Future, which features a contribution from rapper Quavo.
The announcement about Madge’s performance plans was made ahead of the contest’s second semi-final on Thursday Thursday.
“We are pleased to finally confirm that the incomparable music icon Madonna will join us at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest,” said Jon Ola Sand, the event’s executive supervisor.
“We know that it will be an evening to remember and can’t wait to share it with everyone watching.”
Earlier this week, organizers appeared to hedge their bets about her performance, noting she had yet to sign a contract and that she would not be allowed to perform without one.
The gig was previously announced by Madonna’s team last month, but details apparently had yet to be fully hammered out.
