(CelebrityAccess) — Alt-rockers Wilco announced plans for their first North American tour in more than two years.

The tour, which kicks off at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto on October 8th, will see Wilco play at theaters and amphitheaters across North America before it wraps up with a pair of shows October 27th & 28th at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. Other performances include Radio City Music Hall in New York, the Grand Ole Opry House in Tennessee and The Anthem in Washington D.C.

The tour is the band’s first run since 2017 and their first since announcing an extended break after drummer Glenn Kotche’s wife Miiri was awarded with a Fullbright scholarship.

In the interim, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy has released a memoir “So We Can Get Back” as well as a solo album via Warners.

Wilco’s last album was 2016’s “Schmilco” the name a nod to the late, great Harry Nilsson.

Early next year, Wilco is also slated to host Sky Blue Sky, a curated ‘destination festival’ in Riviera Maya, Mexico from Jan. 18h-22nd, 2020.
