BUTLER, Ohio (CelebrityAccess) LaureLive, a music festival that takes place on the campus of the all-girl Laurel School in Butler, Ohio, this weekend is expected to switch venues next year.
The festival drew more than 17,000 fans last year and is expected to bring in more than 20,000 this weekend. It will be headlined this time by Hozier and Sheryl Crow.
“We have doubled [attendance] since year one,” promoter Denny Young told the Beacon Journal. “We have outgrown the Butler campus.”
Young said organizers have scouted several locations but details won’t be announced until after this year’s event.
“It was cooperative,” said Young, president of the Beachwood, Ohio-based Elevation Group. “They’re a school first and obviously a concert venue second.”
The Elevation Group also books the Goodyear Theatre in Akron. This is the fourth year for the festival.
Other acts included on this year’s lineup are Dirty Heads, Trombone Shorty, The Blue Stones, JD Eicher, and The Vindys.
